Newly decorated hotel, perfectly clean, employees are attentive, and location is decent very close to the metro Grand Boulevard station. The rooms are a nice size and well-equipped with a great double bed, the various services, as for instance. The atmosphere of the venue is quiet. As for me the food is good, and they have variety of meals. It offers very good services and has a magnificent breakfast choices. Thank you for a special stay.
Views are quite bad.

Charming historic building, effective air conditioning, private balconies
The rooms could benefit from better sound insulation!!! Thin walls let in every noise from neighbors, which disrupted my peace.

The location was amazin, super central and close to the metro, a big plus. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good with a variety of options. The room was small but super clean and the bed was really comfy. We loved how quiet it was in the courtyard. Definitely was like a cozy spot to come back to after a long day!

This tiny hotel is extremely clean, and staff are helpful. Some reception staff are multi-lingual. Our group received help finding a good restaurant in the area, and other hotel guests received directions and a map in our presence. Coming from North America, of course Paris rooms always seem small, but this one was the most economical in size. However, it had all the usual facilities except a mini-bar: a safe, hair dryer, shampoo, kettle and instant coffee and tea. And also a small box of chocolates, bottle of water and muffin .

The staff were very helpful with directions and the location was near the metro lines.
The room was a lot smaller than imagined, it was hard moving around with 2 people in the room; we often bump into each other. But other than that, our hotel room served it's purpose.

I expected so much more than this. The room was smaller than my closet, and the bed was just two singles pushed together that kept separating. I also noticed the coffee doc wasn't restocked-not exactly luxury, is it? Why didn't I receive even a complimentary coffee for my troubles? Almost left a good review, but just couldn't.

The price and location. Room was good I had a twin for one person and that was perfect.
I think it would be overpriced if I had not gotten a discount. Thin walls, narrow stairs/lift.

I loved the fresh orange juice machine at breakfast and the cozy setup in our clean, well-planned room. Just be aware the bathroom door needs some care. I'd come back!

The location of the Aston is perfect
The hot water appeared to be rationed. I found the flow of hot water for the sink and shower extremely poor. After a little investigation I located a small access cupboard and low and behold within the cupboard were the hot and cold shut of valves. The hot water valve was 2/3 closed. After opening the valve fully, hey presto, hot water flowed as it should.

It's a jaded old hotel which looks fine from outside but is dull and depressing inside. Both rooms we were given had not been cleaned when we reached at 5pm. Then rooms were changed. We extended both rooms for 1 night agreed on a price and the hotel reneged on the price while my wife was checking out (I had left earlier left after paying the full bill charged as agreed) and she was forced to pay more. Poor hotel and overpriced. Not again for us.
